Effective date: October 26, 2026
This policy explains what information Best Up collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Best Up is run by Kai Ishii, a sole proprietor in Florida, USA. "We" and "us" mean Kai Ishii.
Best Up is built for businesses. Most of the information in it belongs to the dealership that uses Best Up, which is usually your employer. If you have questions about how your dealership uses Best Up, ask your manager or admin.
We use essential cookies to run and secure Best Up. These cover sign-in, sessions, security, your theme, and your cookie choice. You cannot turn them off, because Best Up needs them to work.
PostHog only runs on our public marketing pages. It does not run on sign-in, sign-up, onboarding, the dealership web app, or our mobile apps. It shows us which pages people visit, how far they scroll, what they click (such as Book a demo), how fast pages load, and whether a demo request went through. We never send the names, emails, phone numbers, or messages you type into our forms to PostHog.
If you accept optional cookies, PostHog saves an ID in your browser for your current visit, so it can link the pages you view. It also records your visit so we can replay how the site was used, including clicks and scrolling. Anything you type into a form is hidden in these recordings. We do not record console logs or network request contents. Recording only happens after you accept.
If you choose No thanks, or ignore the cookie banner, we still count visits and clicks, but without cookies. PostHog saves nothing in your browser and does not record your visit. To avoid counting a visit twice, PostHog mixes details your browser already sends (such as IP address and browser type) with a secret value that changes every day. It turns that into a one-way code. The code cannot be traced back to you, and it cannot link your visits across days.
Either way, we note which website sent you to us and any campaign tags in the link, such as utm_source or utm_campaign. This shows us which ads, emails, and partners bring people to Best Up. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie preferences in the website footer.
We do not sell your data. We share information only in these cases:
We keep information while your dealership's account is active, or as long as we need it to run Best Up, settle disputes, and follow the law. We keep queue and activity records so your dealership can see past reports. When a dealership ends its subscription, we delete its data or remove what identifies people within a reasonable time, unless the law requires us to keep it. We delete website assistant chats after 12 months.
You can ask us to delete your account and personal data. In the mobile app, open Profile and choose Delete account. You can also email team@bestuplist.com from the email address on your account. Our account deletion page has the steps. Your dealership may keep business records it controls, such as past queue activity and reports, where it needs them for business or legal reasons.
You can update your account details in your profile settings. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, delete, or export your personal information. Because most data belongs to your dealership, we may send some requests to your dealership's admin.
We protect information with standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and role-based permissions. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise perfect security.
Best Up is for dealership staff. It is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy. For important changes, we will tell you in Best Up or by email before they take effect. The effective date at the top shows when we last changed it.
